Euroleague 2024 competition drawing of lots results

Luxembourg, Friday 22nd December – Today the Euroleague 2024 competition drawing of lots took place online to determine the pools for both genders.

A novelty this year sees the introduction of three Euroleague levels on par with the Nations League competition with Gold, Silver and Bronze. There will be 3 pools at Bronze and Silver level in the men’s competition and 2 pools at Silver level in the women’s competition from which the winner will move up to the next level.

The competition system consists of 9 teams divided in 3 pools (A, B, C), with each pool to play round robin matches according to Berger’s tables. Pools with three teams will play on a double round robin system.

Each Bronze Euroleague tournaments winner is awarded the title of Bronze EuroLeague Champion and qualifies to the PVE Silver EuroLeague.

Each Silver Euroleague tournaments winner is awarded the title of Silver EuroLeague Champion and qualifies to the Men’s Golden EuroLeague.

The Golden Euroleague will be made up of the Silver Euroleague tournament winners (1 host plus a maximum of 5 guest teams).

All pools are expected to be completed by the end of March 2024 for the Bronze Euroleague and by the end of April 2024 for the Silver Euroleague.
