ParaVolley EUROPE Sitting & Standing Volleyball in Europe
Last weekend saw World ParaVolley Coach Commission Chairman Jouke DE HAAN (NED) and ParaVolley Marketing Director Isabelle COLLOT (FRA) deliver a Level 0 – Introduction to Sitting Volleyball Course to an audience of 26 people from all over France in cooperation with VolleySLIDE.
The sem
inar took place in Mâcon between the 11th and 13th March and was organised by Chrystel BERNOU from the FFVB (Fédération Française de Volley-ball). Its main aim was to increase the awareness of the sport in clubs and sport associations and to develop the practice of Sitting Volleyball in the big volleyball nation that is France.
The two days were spent learning about the technical aspects of the game but also allowed the participants to put in practice what they had learned during the theoretical parts.
The weekend was a great success and leads to the next WorldParaVolley “Level 1 – Coaching Course” which will take place in Luxembourg between 13th and 16th May.
