The meeting was attended by Alper Sedat Aslandaş, Vice President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF), Onur Hoşnut, TVF Sitting Volleyball Coordinator, Gökalp Çakıcı, CEO of Uzman Posta, Aziz Hopyar, Head Coach of the Men's National Sitting Volleyball Team, and Mehmet Yılmaz, Team Captain.

TVF Vice President Alper Sedat Aslandaş, who gave the opening speech at the meeting, said:

“We are very happy to host an important event in sitting volleyball in Türkiye. Sitting volleyball has become a rapidly developing branch both in the national and international arenas. Bringing such a prestigious championship to Türkiye is a great pride for Turkish sports. The competition will be held at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Lavanta Tepesi Hotel in Burdur between November 22-24, 2024. Along with our National Team, teams from Great Britain, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, the Netherlands, and Lithuania will compete.

Our Sitting Volleyball National Team will start its third and final camp in Burdur on November 10. Last year, we participated in the European Sitting Volleyball Championship held in Italy with our men's and women's teams. This year, our team completed the Silver Nations League tournament organised by ParaVolley Europe (PVE) in Sloveniavfinishing as champions. Also, for the first time in history, the name sponsorship of a tournament organised by PVE was provided by Uzman Posta. All matches in the tournament will be broadcast live on PVE's and TVF’s YouTube accounts. I would like to thank PVE once again for their support and interest. Our aim is to complete the tournament as champions and finish this year with two titles. We aim to continue increasing our successes in line with our national team's goal of participating in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympic Games. Thank you for your participation.”
