After successful editions of the tournament in 2021, 2022 and 2023, even more teams signed up this year, competing in the sitting beach paravolley discipline.

Men’s and women’s squads from Europe, North America and Asia will enter the courts at Ludus Beach Park Ljubljana, trying to deliver their best performance on the road to the 2024 title.

Aktau (KAZ), Aluron CMC ParaVolley (POL), Braslovce (SLO), Estonia (EST), Hungover (USA), IOK Zagreb (CRO), Latvia (LAT) and Srebrenik (BIH) are the teams that will be locking horns in the men’s tournament.

Last year’s title-holders, KSO SPID Sarajevo (BIH) are not taking part, but the 2023 silver medallists of Latvia are ready to show they deserve the 2024 gold. The Croatians of IOK Zagreb finished on third place in 2023, but rest assured, they are aiming higher in this year’s edition of the competition.

As many as six women’s teams will battle it out on the women’s side of the tournament.

Esprit Volley Assis (FRA), Ludus (SLO2), Nova Gorica (SLO3), POK Hrabri (CRO), Sempeter (SLO1) and Zenica (BIH) will give their best, shooting for the moon.

POK Hrabi (CRO) enter the competition as one of the favourites, having won the 2024 Ljubljana Open. However, the hosts, who finished second in 2023, will be represented by three teams this time around, clearly stating their high hopes for grabbing the gold.
