After welcoming the Golden Nations League - Women in the beginning of May, the local organisers are now looking forward to the next one on the list: the Silver Nations League - Men, that will take place from June 28 to 30.

Hungary, Italy, Latvia, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Türkiye are ready to take the floor and battle it out for the title in the 2024 edition of the competition.

In 2023, Latvia dethroned the back then reigning champions of Poland. Now, all eyes will be on the team from the Baltic, as fans across the continent are eager to know if the Latvians will be able to defend their title. Back in 2023, Latvia, led by tournament MVP Aleksejs Berkis, delivered a great spectacle against Poland, securing the historic trophy after an exciting tie-break.

Hungary, who were champions in the first edition of the competition (2021, Campobasso, ITA) are also considered one of the favourites for going back home with the Gold medals.

After missing from the competition in 2023, the 2021 bronze medallists and 2022 runners-up, Türkiye, are “hungry” for more wins that will lead them to the trophy eventually.

For Italy, making it to the podium would be a historic success, as in the previous years, they couldn’t do so.

Hosts Slovenia, were close to making a great debut in 2021, but were left with the silver medals. In 2023, they finished third, and the hopes for the local fans are that in 2024, on home soil, the Slovenians will grab the gold.

The Netherlands took part in the competition only once, in 2022, but finished without a medal. The Dutch are, however, highly motivated to show the European audience what they can and are ready to stun their opponents.
