Running from Friday to Sunday (June 27 to June 29), the competition features a single round-robin that will determine the top teams.

Teams to Watch

France, the host nation, will leverage home-court support, and enter in the tournament as the 2024 Bronze League champions. Renowned for their consistency and skill, they’ll be looking to maintain their shape and aim even higher.
Hungary, will most definitely try to lift the trophy - the 2021 winners finished on third place in 2024, but the ultimate success in 2025 would give the Hungarians an additional boost of inspiration a month before they host PVE’s flagship event - the upcoming #EuroSittingVolley.

Italy who never made it to the podium at the Silver Nations League are hungry for success and would be keen on showing their full potential in Caen, as they are also getting ready for the European Championship.

Latvia were disappointed in 2024 as they left the competition without a medal. The 2023 champions, who also have a bronze from 2022, couldn’t find their rhythm in Sempeter (SLO) last year, but their fans are already looking forward to seeing what the sitting volleyball answer of their favourites this time around will be.

The Netherlands were a step away from the Gold medals in 2024, but were stopped by Türkiye. Working tirelessly in the past months, the Dutch are considered favourites of claiming the title.

Serbia, who were part of the Gold Nations League squad last year, but finished sixth, will compete in the Silver level and many are curious of what their performance will be as the Serbians might always bring the surprise on the court.

What’s at Stake

More than just medals, the Silver Nations League will offer critical ranking points, valuable competitive experience, and a preview of who might challenge for podium spots in Györ where the #EuroSittingVolley Div. A will take place in late July. For fans, it’s also an opportunity to witness first-hand the passion, resilience, and skill that define men’s sitting volleyball.
