The 31-year-old Italian is not a captain in her club; however, it was she who led the way through the tournament to make her team secure the new - and the most prestigious European club - trophy for their cabinet. Bosio's efforts have been recognized with the MVP award.

"I'm super happy; it's an amazing day for us. We worked a lot to get here. The first time that we played against Dream Volley Pisa on Friday, we were very nervous, but I think we played well in that game also. But today, I think we played a way much better; we were able to keep them under pressure during the whole game. So, yeah, I'm super, super happy, and I'm also very proud and happy that I won the MVP award here; it's always a big honor" - emphasized Francesca Bosio.

Recalling the first game, when those teams locked horns at the Champions Cup in the pool phase, when Parma lost in straight sets, Bosio explained that her team struggled a bit, not feeling completely confident about the new rules that had been incorporated during this tournament. Being asked what was the key to Sunday's victory, she answered, "We served very well; also, I think we attacked better, more strategically. We knew better how to position ourselves because with these new rules that you can switch on the net, while on the first day we were not completely sure about it. In the first game we were a little bit more confused. Now everything went smoothly, so our service, for sure, was our strength. And then we also played great on defense; we dug a lot, and then it all goes easier" - said Bosio.

Ahead of her and her team are the busy weeks and months, since soon the domestic season will reach its peak, and straight after the national team season will kick off and will be highlighted with the EuroSittingVolley in Gyor. "We still have the finals of the Italian championship in May, of course, I'm not going to say anything, but there is always, you know, that kind of hope that things go well, but to not jinx it, I won't say anything. Also with the national team, we will have the European Championship in July, so we aim high, but I'm not going to say anything about that too not to jinx it" - Bosio explained.
