The idea behind these Technical Clinics is to provide a basic introduction to sitting volleyball from the region, and give coaches the opportunity to delve into more details of the game and the respective practices.

The clinic will consist of an online meeting during the week before (11 September, 19:00 to 21:00 CEST), and a practical session of 4 hours on Saturday, 14 September (further details to be shared). The clinic will be led by PVE Coaches Commissioner Mr. Lorenzo Giacobbi, who will share his wide knowledge on coaching Sitting Volleyball.

The target audience is coaches from Spain, Portugal, and possibly France. Lessons will be conducted in English, the official language of the course, and participants will receive a certificate, which will allow them to attend further coaching courses in the future.

The agenda includes an online session introducing the history of Sitting Volleyball in Europe, equipment, and game rules. The in-person session will take place in Castellar del Vallès, near the court where the international tournament will be held. It will include one hour of theory covering movements, technique, and tactics, followed by three hours of practical training. In the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to watch the tournament matches as part of their training.

The clinic is free for registered coaches with a licence, issued from Catalan Volleyball Federation for the past season. For other attendees, the course will have a fee of 15 euro.
