From a war-torn homeland to the very top of Paralympic sport, these men led their national team through decades of triumph. Their collection of seven Paralympic medals says it all – but even greater than the medals is the legacy they’ve etched into the hearts of fans across Europe and the world.

Sabahudin Delalić, the captain with a leader’s spirit, guided the team with strength and vision, Ismet Godinjak, the libero and the team’s impenetrable fortress, defended every inch of the court like sacred ground, Asim Medić, the quiet force who always stepped up when it mattered most, Adnan Manko, a true sitting volleyball legend, conquered every ball with heart and skill and Dževad Hamzić, the team’s steady pillar – calm, reliable, and ever-present in key moments.

In addition to seven Paralympic medals, these champions have claimed multiple World Championship titles and dominated the continent with 11 European Championship golds.

And the journey continues: right now, in Győr, Hungary, they are chasing their 12th European gold, once again proving that greatness is not an accident – it’s a legacy built over decades of dedication and belief.

Thanks to them, Bosnia and Herzegovina became a global symbol of excellence in sitting volleyball. Their story continues to inspire new generations – not only of athletes, but of all who believe in the power of unity, perseverance, and sport without limits.
