USA 3-0 Italy

The defending Paralympic champions of the USA crushed the semi-finals dreams of reigning #EuroSittingVolleyball title-holders of Italy. The North Americans recorded a win in straight sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-15) in a match that lasted an hour and three minutes at North Paris Arena.

The USA had more winning spikes to their names (41 to 35) and more blocks (12 to six). Italy, on the other hand, recorded more aces: five to three, but let more own errors affect the score: 19 to 13.

Once again, Francesca Bosio was the best for her team, tallying 14 points. For the winners, becoming top scorer of the match as well, Nicole Heather Erickson finished with 19.
