What were your tasks during your volunteer experience, and did your knowledge in Sitting Volleyball help you fulfill these tasks?

During my volunteering experience, I had two different duty places; one of them was the training hall in the athlete village and the other was the hall where official competitions were held. We had to ensure that the court was clean, that the net was of the right height and that the teams had enough balls. We also provided them with water and towels to ensure optimal training conditions. After each training session, we made the hall ready for other teams to use.

In the hall where the competition was held, we prepared the warm-up areas before the competition, we supported the technical team, we provided balls so that they could warm up, and we helped the athletes carry their belongings.

My knowledge of Sitting Volleyball helped me a lot. I knew what the athletes would need, and it was much easier to understand them.
