Five Men’s teams (Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Norway and Slovenia) and three women’s teams will be locking horns at Stavanger Idrettshall, aiming at bringing home the trophy from the inaugural edition of this #EuroSittingVolley.

The event marks a significant milestone for the paravolley community across Europe, as it's the first time Norway hosts a ParaVolley Europe championship. The tournament is organised by KFUM Stavanger Volleyball in collaboration with the Norwegian Volleyball Federation and ParaVolley Europe.

The championship aims to promote inclusivity and the growth of sitting volleyball in Norway and across Europe. It's considered one of ParaVolley Europe's most significant development projects over the next years, providing a platform for emerging national teams to compete at a higher level.

Hosting this championship aligns with Norway's broader goals of enhancing diversity and inclusion in sports. The event is expected to inspire increased participation in sitting volleyball and foster the development of national teams. It also offers an opportunity for the local community in Stavanger to engage with and support para-athletes.
